This statue depicts Four-Armed Avalokitesvara, the embodiment of infinite compassion in meditative form. He represents the balanced union of wisdom and compassion through contemplative iconography.

This statue is handcrafted in Nepal using time-honored metal-casting traditions.
Artisans begin by sculpting a detailed wax model, which is encased in layers of clay and fired to create a mold.
Molten copper is then poured into the mold, and once cooled, the statue is carefully cleaned, hand-carved, and refined, reflecting craftsmanship passed down through generations of artisans.
A consecration service is available upon request and is performed by experienced Buddhist practitioners using traditional ritual methods.

Avalokitesvara
Mantra: Om Mani Padme Hum
Aavalokiteshvara is a Bodhisattva deity symbolizing wisdom and compassion. The name Avalokiteshvara means ‘the Lord who looks upon the world with compassion’ in Sanskrit. In Tibetan Buddhist traditions, this deity is regarded as the sovereign protector of Tibet, often referred to as 'The Protector of the Land of Snows.' In Mahayana traditions, Avalokiteshvara is viewed as a meditational wisdom deity, or yidam, associated particularly with the qualities of Metta, loving-kindness and Karuna, compassion. Avalokiteshvara is also referred as Karunamaya, The Compassionate One and Lokeshvara, The Lord of the whole world, in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal.
